The Public Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed on Sunday, July 28, 2024, a master’s thesis on achieving the principle of transparency for the public facility, part of which was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and a number of members of the College Council and its instructors.
The thesis submitted by researcher Taha Ali Muhammad in the Public Law Branch dealt with the principle of transparency, which is one of the modern principles that emerged to govern and regulate the work of public facilities after traditional principles became unable to achieve the ultimate goal behind the establishment of these facilities, which is to provide services with high quality and lower cost and achieve administrative clarity in all legal administration work, as transparency aims to support the principle of legitimacy and preserve it from violations.
The thesis aims to show that the importance of transparency is very great in the work and actions taken by the administration as well as in the field of providing services. One of its most important advantages is that it works to raise the level of services provided to individuals and saves them time, effort and money.
The discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Qidar Abdul Qader Saleh, and included Assistant Professor Dr. Naktal Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abu Bakr Ahmed Othman.
