Research for a higher diploma in the branch of human rights law on the human right to social security / Iraq as a model

The Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a high diploma research on human rights in social security / Iraq as a model on Monday, August 23, 2021. Part of it was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Luqman Othman Ahmed, Head of the Human Rights Law Branch The human being and a number of members of the college council and its teachers

The research presented by the student Laith Salah Saeed in the human rights law branch dealt with economic, social and cultural rights, which are an integral part of international human rights law, as human rights and basic freedoms have come interconnected with each other and are indivisible, so they should receive some attention To realize, promote and protect both civil and political rights and economic, social and cultural rights

The study aims to develop a concept and definition of social security as a set of programs carried out by the government or the responsible group in a society in order to enhance the well-being of the population. Social security is for young children, the elderly, the sick, as well as the unemployed

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Yahya, the membership of Dr. Alia Ghazi Taher, and the membership and supervision of Dr. Khalaf Ramadan Muhammad
