Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khaled Jassim, one of the lecturers of the Human Rights Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated for the period October 16-17, 2024, within the program of enhancing the right to a fair trial, improving detention conditions, and abolishing torture in the work of the training workshop that dealt with the topic of juvenile prison management, during which Dr. Suhaib Khaled Jassim, in his capacity as a member of the training team, discussed monitoring mechanisms in detention centers and judicial experiences in monitoring mechanisms for detainees and convicts and the monitoring model for the Justice Network for Prisoners. The above participation comes within the plans of the Deanship of our college and its programs to motivate its members to participate in scientific, research, cultural and academic activities and events and the role of this in defining and clarifying legal provisions for various aspects of life, which contributes to spreading legal culture among the various groups and segments of society.
