Dr. Mayada Muhammad Ahmed, one of the lecturers of the Public Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated in the training course held by the Planning Assistants / Skills Development Department entitled (Crimes of Employees Exceeding the Limits of the Job as a Form of Administrative and Financial Corruption) for the period 10-17 November 2024 with the participation of a number of employees from Nineveh Governorate. Dr. Mayada Muhammad Ahmed’s participation was represented by giving a specialized scientific lecture in which she addressed the definition of job violations that constitute crimes and duties of the public employee and crimes that constitute criminal corruption cases such as bribery and embezzlement and defining some crimes of exceeding the limits of the job such as the crime of abuse of authority and responding to a request or recommendation or mediation and disrupting the freedom and integrity of auctions and tenders and intentional harm to funds and interests and introducing them to the legal procedures for criminal lawsuits and methods of appealing judgments issued in corruption crimes. The above participation comes within the plans of the Deanship of our college and its programs in spreading legal culture among the various segments and classes of society.
