Scientific Workshop on Real Estate Legislation and its Role in Achieving Investment,,,
Under the supervision and attendance of Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College of Law and the members of the College Council and with the follow-up of Professor Dr. Ayser Essam Daoud, Head of the Private Law Branch, the above branch, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, held its scientific workshop on Monday, November 25, 2024, entitled Real Estate Legislation and its Role in Achieving Investment, which began with a speech by the Dean of the College in which he welcomed the honorable attendees, praising the role of the Private Law Branch in holding this workshop, appreciating the distinguished efforts of the Preparatory Committee, and extending his sincere thanks and appreciation to the researchers and participants in the work of this workshop. Then the scientific session began, which witnessed the presentation of a number of research papers that dealt with the legal organization of ownership in residential complexes, the obligations of the investor in forest and tree projects, investment in the residential sector, digitization of real estate ownership in Iraq, Islamic investment certificates and their role in financing real estate investment projects, guarantees to protect the buyer in real estate sales contracts on the map, and notes on the legal organization of real estate investment in Iraqi legislation. Then the honorable attendees of researchers, academics and those interested in legal affairs asked many questions and inquiries about the topic of the workshop, which were answered in detail by those in charge of it. Then the Dean of the College and the Head of the Private Law Department distributed certificates of appreciation to the head and members of the Preparatory Committee and the researchers in appreciation of their efforts in holding this workshop, which comes within a series of scientific, research, cultural and student activities for our college during the current academic year 2024-2025.
