On Monday, December 9, 2024, Dr. Sivan Bakrad Mesrob, Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, accompanied by a number of our college’s lecturers, participated in the celebration held by the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Nineveh Governorate in cooperation with the Norwegian Refugee Council on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the issuance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 1948. The above participation comes within the framework of the Deanship of our College’s endeavor to communicate and interact with the activities and events held by colleges, universities, scientific institutions and other community organizations. In turn, the Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and the members of the College Council, its scientific and administrative staff and its students, appreciates the efforts of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Nineveh Governorate in the context of its communication and interaction with our college and its lecturers, which contributes to enhancing scientific and societal awareness of the rights approved by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
