Assistant Professor Dr. Israa Younis Hadi, one of the lecturers of the Public Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated on Thursday, February 13, 2024, in the work of the scientific symposium entitled Combating Violent Extremism and Spreading the Values ​​of Tolerance, Acceptance of the Other, and Coexistence in Peace, which was held by the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Mosul in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine affiliated with the Shiite Endowment Diwan. The participation consisted of giving lectures and presenting a research paper on the topic of the symposium, which dealt with the dangers of drugs and their impact on society, and community peace, human values, and a civilized vision. The above participation comes within the plans and programs of the Deanship of our college to motivate its members to participate in the scientific, research, cultural, and academic activities and events held by colleges and other scientific institutions and contribute to working to spread legal culture among the various groups and segments of society.
