Participation in a dialogue session
On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, a number of professors and instructors from the College of Law at the University of Mosul participated in a dialogue session held by the European Foundation for Dialogue and Development in Nineveh Governorate, in cooperation with the Governor of Nineveh and a group of advisors to the Iraqi Council of Representatives. The session, titled “The Federal Council and Its Role in Achieving Balance between Federal Authorities, Regional Authorities, and Governorates Not Participating in the Region,” addressed the role of the Federal Council in balancing powers.
The above participation came in response to an official invitation from the Advisor for Research and Development in the Council of Representatives, with the aim of enriching the discussion with academic ideas and insights that contribute to strengthening the balance between the levels of governance in Iraq.
