On Monday, April 14, 2025, a doctoral dissertation in the Accounting Department by student Zeina Abdul Sattar Jabr was discussed at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul. The dissertation was titled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence to Develop Actuarial Calculations and Its Role in Improving the Quality of Financial Reports.” The study aimed to achieve important results confirming the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in enhancing the efficiency of actuarial calculations and the accuracy of financial reports, thus contributing to the improvement of the performance of insurance companies and financial institutions. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Asaad Ghani Jihad, Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and included Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Malallah Abdullah, Assistant Professor Dr. Taha Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Professor Dr. Saif al-Din Amjad Ismail, and supervised and included Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud al-Ibrahimi.
