The Sixth International Scientific Conference for Postgraduate Student Research at the College of Law at the University of Mosul kicked off under the slogan “For a Healthy Iraq… No to Extremism, Yes to Peace and Justice.” Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Ramadan Ali, Dean of the College of Law, the College, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, held its Sixth International Scientific Conference for Postgraduate Student Research on Monday, June 2, 2025. The conference began with a minute of silence for the souls of all the honorable among us, followed by the playing of the national anthem of the Republic of Iraq. The Dean of the College then delivered a speech welcoming the distinguished attendees, praising the College’s pioneering role in developing legal knowledge and preparing cadres capable of building a state of law. The Chair of the Preparatory Committee, Professor Dr. Bushra Khalid Turki, also delivered a speech in which she thanked the Deanship of the College, highlighting the importance of this conference, which witnessed broad international participation. Certificates of appreciation were then distributed to the members of the Preparatory Committee and the researchers. The scientific sessions then began, discussing research that addressed combating terrorism. Terrorism in Palestinian Legislation, Digitization in Moroccan Judiciary, Artificial Intelligence and Legal Liability, Criminal Protection of Palestinian Constants in Light of the Aggression on Gaza, and Iraqi Anti-Corruption Measures. The conference concluded with the reading of recommendations and the announcement of the first three research papers. This conference is part of a series of academic activities held by our college during the current academic year 2024-2025.
