The Grand Theater Hall at the University of Mosul witnessed the launch of the **”First Justice Marathon and Forum,”** organized by the university presidency under the supervision of **Prof. Dr. Waheed Al-Ibrahimi**, President of the University of Mosul, and with the generous sponsorship of **Judge Raed Al-Masleh**, President of the Nineveh Court of Appeal.

The forum featured a distinguished participation by **Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abbas Hamoudi**, a faculty member at our college, who delivered a scientific lecture titled:
**”Cybercrimes and the Role of Cybersecurity in Combating Them – Electronic Fraud as a Case Study.”**
The lecture addressed:
– The growing challenges posed by cybercrimes to society.
– The vital role of cybersecurity in mitigating these crimes.
– A focused examination of electronic fraud as a case study.

This forum comes as part of efforts to **enhance legal and academic dialogue** on contemporary justice issues and to emphasize the importance of **collaboration between educational and judicial institutions** in confronting modern crimes.
