Scientific workshop

A number of faculty members from the University of Mosul’s College of Law participated in a workshop titled “Combating Normalization and the Academic Boycott of the Zionist Entity.”
The online workshop, held in cooperation with academics from Arab countries, discussed the topic of academic normalization with the Zionist entity and mechanisms to combat it. A select group of Iraqi academics participated, along with faculty members and graduate students from the College of Law.
The workshop’s first session featured a lecture on academic normalization. Dr. Ahmed Faris Idris presented an analysis of the concept and reality of normalization in Iraq at the historical and social levels, explaining the academic position on opposing normalization with the Zionist entity. Dr. Wissam Nemat Ibrahim addressed the legal reality of normalization and its role in strengthening the boycott. Dr. Saja Shaaban presented a research paper on the challenges facing normalization with the Zionist entity. The event concluded with an expanded discussion focusing on the importance of Iraq’s role in supporting the academic boycott at the Arab and international levels.
