Scientific lecture

Dr. Nawar Najib Tawfiq Ghazal, one of our faculty instructors, gave a lecture to National Security personnel at the Continuing Education Center at the University of Mosul on Thursday, September 25, 2025. The lecture was titled “Administrative Correspondence and Correspondence.” Administrative correspondence and correspondence are one of the primary tools used in government institutions. They represent the primary means of transmitting information, decisions, and instructions between different administrative levels, ensuring the smooth and steady flow of work, implementing laws, and achieving the public good. They represent all written documents exchanged within an institution or between it and other entities for the purpose of accomplishing a specific administrative task. They are of two types: internal, such as memoranda between departments, and external, such as letters addressed to ministries or other departments. They must be formal, written using simple language, free of ambiguity and colloquial or personal expressions. They must be concise, providing only the necessary information without prolixity.
