Master’s Thesis Discussion at the College of Law, University of Mosul
On Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025, a master’s thesis entitled “Criminal Behavior Officer” was discussed at the College of Law, University of Mosul, by student Taha Fadel Taha Jazaa, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Zeina Zuhair Muhammad Sheet.
The thesis analyzed the phenomenon of deviating from codes of conduct as a threat to public order and society, indicating that such behavior constitutes a crime punishable by punishment when it exceeds the limits of permissibility established by law. The study also sought to clarify the role of the criminal behavior officer in controlling physical acts that constitute crimes, within the framework of achieving justice and activating the principle of criminal legality.
The thesis aims to explain the concept of the criminal behavior officer theoretically and practically, by clarifying the legal and philosophical framework that underpins it, and by explaining its role in guiding judicial work and achieving precision in identifying criminal acts.
