College of Law

The Scholarships and Cultural Relations Unit at the College of Law, University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department at the University Presidency, organized a workshop entitled:

“European Union Grants and Programs (Erasmus+).” This workshop aimed to introduce European Union programs and provide opportunities for faculty and students to benefit from exchange and academic development programs. Several specialists delivered detailed lectures on participation mechanisms, application requirements, and grant procedures.

The following individuals participated in the workshop:

• Dr. Ali Nadhir Abdulbaqi, Head of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department at the University of Mosul Presidency.

• Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Mohammed Hamed, Head of the European Union Projects Unit at the University Presidency.

• Assistant Professor Dr. Alia Ghazi Taher, Head of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Unit at the College of Law.

• Ms. Hind Sheet Hussein, Head of the Overseas Students Division
The workshop was held in Dr. Layla Hall on Sunday, November 23, 2025, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and college students. It included extensive discussions and inquiries about external scholarship opportunities and ways to enhance academic participation with European universities.
