College of Law

The college of law is one of the most prominent humanities in the university of Mosul . established in academic year 1983_ 1984 , at the first it’s called college of law than opened a new branch and as result of the enjoinment of the department of the political at the college of political science founded at the same time the name of the law changed to the college of law . in 1993_1994 spilt scientific section into two scientific branches are public law branch and private law branch . In 2008 , the name of the law changed from law to the college Right . in other side there are a new idea in order to open the human Right as a new branch in college of law .

* The number of teaching in the college of law are (104) they arrangement according to scientific title:

1_ (15) professor

2_ (49) Assistant professor

3_ (42) teacher (lecturer )

4_ (16) Assistant lecturer

* The college of law awarded bachelor’s degree in law .

* Evening studies were opened in the academic year (1994_ 1995)

_ Number of graduate courses are :

A_ (31) Morning study courses

B_ (13) Evening courses.

* The number of the students in the school year (2017_ 2016) are (3792) students the number of graduate in the morning study .

* The number of the students in the school year (2017_ 2016) are (2023) students the number of graduate in the evening study.

* The high studies were introduced and opened in (1993_ 1994) where the college of law grants a master ‘s and Doctoral degrees for both branches (public and private law).
