The College of Law and the College of Political Science, in collaboration with the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Office in Nineveh Governorate and with the cooperation of the Studies and Planning Department / Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, organized a scientific symposium entitled:
“The Pillars of the State and National Security Requirements – An Integrative Vision between the Legislative System and the Field Reality.”
The symposium aimed to highlight the importance of integration between legislative frameworks and practical reality in promoting national security and solidifying the pillars of the state, in addition to discussing current challenges facing national institutions and ways to address them from legal and security perspectives.
The symposium was attended by a number of professors, researchers, and students, in addition to representatives from relevant entities. During the symposium, several scientific interventions were presented, enriching the discussion topics and contributing to deepening the academic and practical understanding of the symposium’s subject.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the organizers emphasized the importance of continuing to hold such scientific events due to their effective role in raising academic awareness and enhancing partnerships between educational institutions and entities concerned with national security, and in achieving sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
