The College of Law – University of Mosul witnessed the defense of the doctoral thesis entitled “The Drafting of Civil Contracts and Its Impact on Achieving Legal Security – A Comparative Study”, presented by the student Firas Mish’al Abduljabbar Al-Nu’aimi, on Tuesday, 23/6/2026, in the postgraduate studies halls at the college.

The thesis aimed to demonstrate the importance of contractual drafting as an essential legal tool in constructing the contract and precisely defining rights and obligations, and to highlight its role in achieving legal security and contractual stability. It also sought to emphasize the formal and substantive controls that ensure the clarity of contractual clauses and the precision of the legal terminology used therein, as well as to illustrate the impact of proper drafting on reducing contractual disputes and enhancing the stability of legal relationships.
