Faculty Member at the College of Law Participates in a Master’s Thesis Discussion at the College of Arts

Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Abdulwahab Abdullah, a faculty member in the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law, University of Mosul, participated in the discussion of a master’s thesis in the Peacebuilding specialization at the College of Arts at the University, titled:

“Problematic Issues in the Application of International Law and Their Repercussions on Global Peace and Societal Security – An Analytical Study”

presented by the student Omar Faisal Fudhail Al-Khazraji.

The thesis addressed the most prominent problematic issues and challenges associated with the application of the rules of international law, and their repercussions on achieving peace and societal security at the global level, as well as analyzing the extent of the effectiveness of international law in addressing conflicts and promoting stability and peace.

The participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Abdulwahab Abdullah in the discussion affirms the importance of scientific and cognitive complementarity between the disciplines of law and peacebuilding, and enhances academic cooperation between the colleges of the University of Mosul, thereby contributing to supporting scientific research and addressing contemporary issues related to international law, peace, security, and human rights.
