At the University of Mosul, the work of the training course titled “Legal and Political Governance for Institutions” continued. The course is organized by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Law, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Political Science and the Science and Technology Gardens Division at the Presidency of the University of Mosul.

The second day of the course witnessed the delivery of a number of specialized scientific lectures. Assistant Professor Dr. Saja Amr Shaaban delivered a lecture titled “Reforming the Civil Litigation System: A Procedural Vision in Light of Current Governance Rules,” in which she addressed the importance of developing litigation procedures and enhancing their efficiency in line with the principles of good governance.

Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Ali Salem also delivered a lecture titled “The Constitutional Codification of the Elements of Institutional Governance,” through which she highlighted the constitutional foundations of the elements of governance.

Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Abdul Sattar Jabr Al-Laila, the official in charge of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit, managed the proceedings of the course for that day.

This course comes within the university’s efforts to enhance legal and institutional culture and to disseminate the concepts and applications of governance in a way that contributes to developing administrative and legal performance in institutions.
