Master’s thesis in the branch of human rights law on the impact of the International Bill of Rights of Minorities on the Iraqi legal system.
On Sunday, December 4, 2022, the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on the impact of the International Bill of Rights of Minorities on the Iraqi legal system. Part of it was attended by Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, President of the University of Mosul, and Professor and Dr. Aqil Al-Araji, President of Al-Hamdaniya University, and a number A member of the College Council and its teachers.
The thesis submitted by the student Ghazwan Hamid Hamid in the Human Rights Law branch dealt with the impact of international legislation on the rights of minorities in Iraq based on what was stipulated in international conventions and covenants and their role in approving the rights of minorities at the international level in addition to the rights and freedoms that have been approved in national laws and legislation.
The discussion committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Ramadan Ali, with membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Hamad Kurdi and Instructor Dr. Faris Muhammad Hussein, and membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Raqib Muhammad Jassim.
