In the interest of the Dean of the College of Law at the University of Mosul, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Wissam Nimat Ibrahim Al-Saadi, Dean of the College, and the members of the College Council, on public health, which is one of the fundamental rights and freedoms approved by national legislation and international instruments, and in cooperation with the Presidency of Health of Nineveh Governorate, our college held on Tuesday corresponding to December 13, 2022 A lecture on the phenomenon of smoking, which is a serious societal scourge that threatens society in general and youth in particular due to the diversity of its forms, methods and means, in addition to its serious and devastating effects on public health. Many countries, including Iraq, have enacted laws that prevent the practice of this phenomenon in state departments and institutions and public places, and the lecture witnessed a distinguished presence of the members of our college and its students, and this lecture comes within the series of community activities of our college during the current academic year 2022_2023.
