Dr. Shaima Abdul Sattar Jabr, one of the female teachers of the Human Rights Law Branch at the College of Law at the University of Mosul, participated as a lecturer in the training course entitled Violence against Women in Domestic and International Legislations that was set up by the Women’s Empowerment Committee in the College of Engineering at the University of Mosul in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the Presidency of the University of Mosul as part of Campaign to combat violence against women, and this participation comes within the programs of the deanship of our college in openness and interaction with the faculties of the University of Mosul and its research centers, which contributes to the dissemination of legal culture and awareness of society and its various groups, in which women are one of the basic elements of their rights and societal freedoms approved by internal legislation and international instruments.
