An electronic workshop at the University of Mosul to initiate work on the adoption of the Bologna Process system
Pursuant to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to adopt the Bologna Process system in Iraqi universities, the University of Mosul organized on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, an electronic introductory workshop on the Bologna Process university system, which took place via video conference technology in the meeting room of the Scientific and Literary Forum, where Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, Scientific Assistant to the President of the University, managed the session, which was attended by Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, Assistant to the President for Administrative Affairs, the deans of the faculties and a number of cadres who will work to implement the system in the faculties of the university.
During which Dr. Burak Arikan, the international expert in the Bologna system and academic accreditation, gave a lecture on the Bologna system, which is approved in most European universities, as the adoption of this system represents a quantum leap for Iraqi universities to keep pace with international university systems.
