Training Course: Formulation of Feed Rations for Farm Animals and Poultry

The College of Veterinary Medicine – Department of Veterinary Public Health, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit, has organized a training course titled “Formulation of Feed Rations for Farm Animals and Poultry”, which will run from April 26–28, 2026.

The course aims to:

Introduce the scientific principles of feeding farm animals and poultry.

Develop the skills needed to formulate balanced rations that meet different nutritional requirements.

Understand feed components and their role in improving animal production and health.

Train participants on calculating nutritional needs according to age, type, and production purpose.

Learn methods to reduce costs while maintaining ration efficiency and quality.

Enhance the ability to use modern techniques in feed preparation and formulation.

This course is part of the College of Veterinary Medicine’s efforts to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education.
