Seminars at the Department of Pathology and Poultry Diseases

As part of the ongoing academic activities of the Department of Pathology and Poultry Diseases, a series of postgraduate seminars for MSc students was held on Sunday, 14 June 2026, in the presence of faculty members and postgraduate students. The following seminars were presented:

  1. MSc student Rana Nouri Khalaf, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al‑Saydi, presented her seminar titled:

“Immunohistopathological Evaluation of Bone Marrow Transplantation on Acute Lung Injury Experimentally Induced in Rats.”

  1. MSc student Raghad Waad Taher, under the supervision of

Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Mohammed Abd (Primary Supervisor) and Prof. Dr. Michael James Dark, University of Florida, USA (Co‑Supervisor), presented her seminar titled:

“Comparative Molecular Analysis of Canine SDHB Gene Expression and Immunohistochemical Profiles of Adrenal and Renal Tissues from Clinically Normal Dogs.”

 

  1. MSc student Ali Mohammed Hussein, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Basim Thanoon, presented his seminar titled:

“Pathological Effects of Nano‑Silver on the Male Reproductive System of Rats and the Role of Selenium in Repairing the Damage.”
