The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul participated in the activities of the international “Eurasia Academy” (EURASIA ACADEMY) forum, which commenced on Thursday, 29 January 2026, at Al-Mustaqbal University in Babil Province. The forum was organized in cooperation with the Union of European and Asian Universities and witnessed wide academic participation from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities from Turkey, Europe, and Asia.
The college’s participation came as part of the University of Mosul delegation headed by the President of the University, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi. Representing the College of Administration and Economics were the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, and Professor Dr. Ziyad Hashim Al-Saqqa, a faculty member in the Department of Accounting.
The forum aims to enhance international academic cooperation, exchange scientific expertise, and build effective research partnerships among participating universities, in line with the directions of higher education toward academic openness and improving the quality of academic performance.
