Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the Cultural Activities Unit / Student Activities Division organized on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, the second session of the Literary Forum as part of a monthly series aimed at developing cultural awareness and promoting self-development concepts within the university community.
The session, titled “Dialogue of Will: A Reading of the Book ‘Thus They Defeated Despair,’” discussed the book by author Salwa Al-Odaidan in an intellectual dialogue that highlighted inspiring human stories and experiences that succeeded in overcoming challenges and defeating despair, contributing to reinforcing values of hope and positive energy among students.

The session was held in Discussion Hall No. (1) at the college deanship building at 12:00 noon, attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students, and featured notable engagement and rich discussions reflecting the forum’s cultural and human impact and the importance of its continuity.
