The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized a specialized training course entitled:
“Effective Management of the Monthly Salary: A Strategic Step Toward Financial Sustainability and Improved Quality of Life.”
The course was held over three days, from Monday to Wednesday, March 2–4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in the Continuing Education Hall at the College’s Deanship building, with the participation of a number of the College staff members.
The course aimed to develop participants’ financial planning skills and enhance their ability to manage monthly income based on sound scientific principles. It also focused on analyzing consumer behavior, identifying areas of unnecessary spending, and promoting the concepts of financial sustainability and regular saving. In addition, the program emphasized building rational financial decision-making skills—particularly in exceptional circumstances—and introduced appropriate saving and investment tools for individuals with limited income.
The sessions were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Wajeeh Mahdi, Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Fadil Hammadi, and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Jasim Al-Khafaji, who presented a practical approach that combined theoretical foundations with professional experience. Their contribution helped strengthen financial awareness and promote a culture of responsible personal resource management.
