The University of Mosul / College of Administration and Economics – Department of Management Information Systems witnessed, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in Discussion Hall No. (2), the defense of a PhD dissertation entitled:
“Wise Leadership and Its Impact on Enhancing Sustainable Organizational Performance: Testing the Mediating Role of Green Information Technology Usage”
Presented by the student: Murad Mousa Abdul Jabouri.
The study aimed to explore the pivotal role of wise leadership in enhancing sustainable organizational performance within industrial companies, with a particular focus on the mediating role of green information technology practices.
The key findings of the study highlighted:
Decision-makers play a fundamental role in guiding employees’ behavior toward adopting green IT principles.
Adopting clear policies and allocating resources to energy-efficient technologies significantly enhance sustainable performance.
Training employees and encouraging environmental innovation help establish a long-term sustainability-oriented organizational culture.
