The team of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul achieved a notable athletic accomplishment by securing third place in the University of Mosul Colleges Chess Championship. The tournament was held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, with the participation of 24 colleges from across the university.
This achievement reflects the dedication and excellence of the college’s students, who demonstrated a high level of focus, skill, and strategic thinking throughout the competition. Their performance highlights their active presence and ability to achieve honorable results in various university activities.
At the conclusion of the tournament, the third-place trophy was presented to the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, in recognition of this accomplishment, which embodies the students’ determination and spirit of excellence.
