Management Information Systems Discuss the Transition to Clean Energy and Its Impact on Environmental and Economic Security – College of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul

The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, held a scientific workshop on Thursday, April 9, 2026, titled:
“The Transition to Clean Energy and Its Role in Environmental and Economic Security,” in Laboratory No. (1) of the department.
The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Fattah Al-Shaher, who highlighted the importance of shifting to clean energy sources as a strategic choice for achieving environmental security and economic stability. He also shed light on the key challenges and opportunities associated with this transition in light of current global changes.
The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and students from the department. The atmosphere was marked by active academic engagement and constructive discussions, reflecting participants’ strong interest in sustainable energy and its economic and environmental dimensions.
This event comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul to promote awareness of contemporary environmental and economic issues, and to support scientific initiatives that contribute to achieving sustainable development.
