The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul organized an awareness lecture on financing small projects and guiding female students.

As part of implementing the Women’s Affairs Committee plan at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Sustainable Development and Women’s Affairs Committee at the college, the College of Administration and Economics held an educational lecture on Monday, April 13, 2026, titled: “How to Finance Small Projects and Guide Female Students.”
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Thania Ismail Dhanoon, who addressed several key topics related to mechanisms for financing small projects and ways to guide female students toward initiative and entrepreneurship, contributing to strengthening their economic independence and developing their practical skills.
The lecture targeted college students as part of efforts to enhance awareness of available funding opportunities, promote a culture of self-employment, and empower students to invest their skills in establishing projects that are capable of growth and sustainability.
This activity comes within the college’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of women and empower them academically and professionally, in alignment with sustainable development goals and to enhance their active participation in society.
