In-depth evaluative monitoring… Laboratories at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, under the quality lens to reinforce academic compliance

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul received a delegation from the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance / Central Committee for Laboratory Quality, as part of an on-site evaluative visit aimed at assessing the extent to which the college’s laboratories comply with approved Iraqi standards. This visit comes ضمن a series of supervisory activities designed to enhance the laboratory environment and improve its overall performance.
The delegation was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Salem Khalil Khaled, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; Dr. Abdulrahman Zuhair Abdulqadir, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs; and Lecturer Zaid Khalil Ibrahim, Head of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division at the college.
The visit included a comprehensive inspection tour of the college’s laboratories, during which the committee reviewed the infrastructure and laboratory equipment, evaluated the efficiency of the devices in use, and examined safety and security procedures, as well as the adopted operational and organizational mechanisms. The committee also audited quality management records and documentation, reflecting the level of compliance with established academic standards.
The visit concluded with a set of constructive recommendations aimed at supporting the ongoing development of the laboratories and enhancing their operational efficiency. These efforts contribute to fostering an advanced learning environment that meets the expectations of students and researchers, in line with the college’s vision of achieving institutional excellence and comprehensive quality.
