“Waste Management Strategies”: The Industrial Management Department at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Discusses Environmental Sustainability Solutions

On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, the Industrial Management Department at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized a scientific workshop titled:
“Waste Management Strategies.” The workshop took place in Hall No. (2) of the Management Information Systems Department at 12:30 PM.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Riyadh Jamil. The sessions focused on the mechanisms of designing and implementing integrated waste management strategies within institutions, balancing environmental, economic, and social dimensions. It also emphasized the vital importance of adhering to international standards and local regulations concerning environmental preservation and achieving sustainability.
The primary objectives of the workshop were to:
Enable participants to understand modern waste management approaches.
Encourage the adoption of practices that reduce environmental impacts.
Enhance the efficiency of institutional performance.
The event was attended by several department faculty members, researchers, and students. It concluded with active scientific discussions addressing key environmental challenges and practical solutions related to waste management across various institutions.
