A Humanitarian Message from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul.. Direct Support for Cancer Patients and a Commitment to Continuing Community Giving Initiatives

In embodiment of its humanitarian mission and social responsibility, a delegation from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, headed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, and accompanied by the vice deans, heads of scientific departments, several department and administrative unit heads, and college staff, conducted a visit to the Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Specialized Hospital on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
The delegation was received by the Director of the Hospital, Specialist Physician Dr. Abdul Qadir Salem Ahmed. During the visit, cash amounts were distributed to a number of patients, supported by donations from the college’s faculty and staff, and in coordination with the Voluntary Work Unit and the Psychological Counseling Section.
Speaking to the lens of the Government Media and Communications Section, the Dean emphasized that this initiative represents the first installment of a continuous series of humanitarian initiatives to support cancer patients. He pointed out that what the college provides embodies the values of solidarity and giving, and that the College Council is committed to continuing and expanding these activities during the upcoming phases.
This activity aligns with the Third Goal of the Sustainable Development Goals: “Good Health and Well-being”, by supporting patients and promoting social solidarity.
