In Baghdad.. The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Among Elite Iraqi University Leaders in the Excellence and Sustainability Program 2030

In a step reflecting the active presence of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul in leadership development programs at the national level, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, participated in the specialized training program titled “Iraqi University Leaders Towards Excellence and Sustainability 2030.” The program was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, and is being held at the National Center for Management Development and Information Technology in Baghdad from June 21 to 25, 2026.
The program includes the participation of the Assistant President of the University of Mosul for Scientific Affairs, alongside the Deans of the university’s colleges. The College of Administration and Economics recorded a distinguished presence in this training forum, which aims to build academic leaders capable of keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the higher education environment and enhancing the readiness of universities for future requirements.
The opening of the program featured a speech by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Al-Jumaili. He emphasized the importance of adopting modern leadership concepts based on strategic planning, good governance, crisis management, and building effective institutional partnerships, thereby supporting the pathways of institutional development and sustainable development.
The program includes a series of specialized modules in strategic leadership, institutional governance, digital transformation, artificial intelligence applications, academic quality, risk management, partnerships with the private sector, and entrepreneurship and innovation. These modules aim to develop the efficiency of university leaders and enhance their ability to guide higher education institutions toward excellence and sustainability, while achieving national development goals.
