In continuation of the water system development works at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, and under the personal supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammad Jamil, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Zuhair Abdulqader, the college completed on Thursday, July 30, 2026, the removal of the old water tanks and the replacement of water pipes, following a technical study and field follow-up, in coordination with the Reconstruction and Projects Unit at the college.

This achievement comes in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), by developing the water system and enhancing its service efficiency, thereby ensuring a continuous water supply and providing a more efficient university environment to serve students, faculty, and staff.

This project is considered one of the important development efforts, especially since the previous tanks had not been replaced since the founding of the college, which necessitated modernizing the system to keep pace with modern infrastructure requirements and improve the quality of services provided within the college.
