The Council of the Management Information Systems Department at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026,  its first session for the 2026–2027 academic year, chaired by Assistant Prof. Dr. Mohammad Asim Mohammad Al-Salem, Head of the Department, and attended by faculty members, in implementation of the directives of the College Deanery and in preparation for the launch of the new academic year.

​The Head of the Department commenced the meeting by congratulating the teaching staff on their official resumption of duties, emphasizing the importance of working in a team spirit and adhering to ministry and university directives, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance and achieving the department’s goals.

​The session featured the discussion of several academic and organizational files, most notably finalizing the update of student data via the (SIS) system, completing the distribution of academic subjects, and completing the formation of scientific and examination committees. In addition, faculty members were urged to actively participate in the Science Day Award, with an emphasis on completing program accreditation requirements in accordance with approved standards.

​The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continuing to support the teaching staff and providing a motivating academic environment that contributes to establishing a culture of quality, enhancing digital transformation, and raising the quality of the department’s outputs in line with the vision of the College of Administration and Economics and the University of Mosul toward institutional excellence.
