The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, a  master’s thesis titled “The Impact of Resilience Engineering Principles in Enabling the Transition Toward Quality 4.0,” submitted by student Mohammed Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Jubouri in Discussion Hall No. 1.

​The study aimed to examine the nature of the relationship between resilience engineering principles and the factors enabling the transition toward Quality 4.0. It evaluated the impact of these principles on enhancing the readiness of the Intravenous Solutions Factory in Mosul to gradually adopt modern quality practices. Additionally, the study assessed the presence of resilience engineering principles and Quality 4.0 enablers, determining their role in supporting the requirements of this transition.

​The study reached a set of conclusions, most notably demonstrating a significant positive correlation between resilience engineering principles and the enablers of the transition toward Quality 4.0. It also identified a significant positive effect of these principles on improving the factory’s readiness to transition toward Quality 4.0, which helps in adopting more integrated and proactive quality practices, boosts industrial performance, and drives higher levels of efficiency and excellence.
