The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Discusses Master’s Thesis on the Impact of Smart Supply Chain Characteristics on Quality Dimensions According to Garvin’s Model

The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Sunday, September 6, 2026 the Master’s thesis titled “The Impact of Certain Characteristics of Smart Supply Chains on Quality Dimensions According to Garvin’s Model,” presented by student Taqwa Fawzi Jamil Al-Hilali, in Discussion Hall No. (1).

​The study aimed to test the impact of certain characteristics of smart supply chains as an independent variable on product quality dimensions according to Garvin’s model as a dependent variable. This was conducted through an applied study at Kronji Company for Soft Drinks, Health Water, Juices, Dairy, and Energy Drinks Ltd., analyzing the extent to which the company adopts the smart supply chain concept and its reflection on improving product quality dimensions.

​The study arrived at several conclusions, most notably the existence of a statistically significant effect between smart supply chain characteristics and product quality dimensions according to Garvin’s model, confirming the importance of adopting smart supply chain practices to enhance product quality and improve operational performance.
