The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, participated in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of the Faculties of Administration and Economics in Iraqi universities on Sunday, August 27, 2003
The meeting resulted in a discussion of ways to enhance cooperation between the faculties of administration and economics in Iraq and important topics related to the approval of the establishment of departments and private colleges in different regions of Iraq and the unification of the curricula of the faculties of administration and economics and the Bologna system and accreditation of the faculties of administration and economics and committees were formed at the level of Iraqi universities and mechanisms to consolidate private education and increase acceptance rates in evening studies. Scientific affairs and modernization of the curricula of preliminary and postgraduate studies and other matters that would raise the scientific level of the faculties of administration and economics in Iraqi universities.

After the meeting, a second meeting was attended with Prof. Dr. Ihab Nagy, Director General of the Department of Studies and Planning, and the possibility of reducing the rates of students admitted for the current year was discussed with at least 65 Btarsin the scientific situation with granting the authority to universities to reduce 3 degrees, as the deans demanded the cancellation of the percentages for accepting professional preparations, and at the end of the meeting, the deans thanked the efforts made by Prof. Dr. Ihab Naji, the respected and his cooperation and encouragement to the faculties of administration and economics.
