The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, hosted the defense of the master’s thesis submitted by Noor Hashim Ramadan from the Department of Industrial Management, titled: “Quality Improvement Factors and Their Impact on Achieving the Dimensions of Sustainable Healthcare: An Exploratory Study in a Number of Private Hospitals in Mosul City.”

The study aimed to measure the impact of quality improvement factors on achieving the dimensions of sustainable healthcare, by analyzing the relationship between the application of these factors—represented by (management commitment, human resource management, and quality information systems)—and the main dimensions of sustainable healthcare (environmental, social, and economic).

The results revealed a statistically significant correlation and impact between the application of quality improvement factors and the achievement of sustainable healthcare dimensions, highlighting the importance of integrating quality improvement concepts into the strategic plans of healthcare institutions, particularly in the field of human resource management. The study also demonstrated tangible improvements in certain sustainability dimensions, such as pollution control and the reduction of harmful emissions.
