The Department of Industrial Management – College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul discusses a Higher Diploma thesis on supply chain flexibility and customer retention

The College of Administration and Economics / Department of Industrial Management at the University of Mosul witnessed, on Thursday, 12 February 2026, in the Department of Economics Hall, the discussion of the Higher Diploma thesis entitled: “The Contributions of Supply Chain Flexibility Dimensions to Achieving Customer Retention,”
submitted by the student Thar Haider Ahmed Redha.The study aimed to highlight supply chain flexibility as an important managerial tool that helps organizations face the challenges of the contemporary business environment by enhancing the company’s ability to respond quickly and efficiently to customers’ changing and evolving needs and preferences, thereby supporting customer retention.
The study reached several conclusions, most notably the existence of a statistically significant correlation between supply chain flexibility and customer retention at the factory under study. This confirms the important role of such flexibility in strengthening and sustaining customer relationships. The results also showed a statistically significant effect of supply chain flexibility as an independent variable on customer retention as a dependent variable.
