Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Visits Al-Hadbaa Specialized Hospital and Provides Support to Thalassemia and Leukemia Patients

Within the framework of the humanitarian and social role of the College of Administration and Economics at University of Mosul, the Dean of the College, Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, accompanied by the assistant deans, heads of scientific departments, and a number of officials from the administrative units and staff members, visited Al‑Hadbaa Specialized Hospital for Blood Diseases and Bone Marrow Transplantation on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, to check on the conditions of patients suffering from Thalassemia and Leukemia.
The college delegation was received by the hospital director, his assistants, and the heads of its medical units. During the visit, several baskets of Eid clothing and financial donations were distributed to the patients. These contributions were collected through donations from the college’s faculty members and employees, in coordination with the college’s divisions, administrative units, and liaison representatives of the academic departments.
The patients’ families and the hospital administration expressed their appreciation for this initiative, emphasizing its positive impact in supporting patients and alleviating their suffering. This visit comes as part of a series of previous outreach activities organized by the college, with plans to arrange further visits in the future to continue supporting the local community.
This initiative reflects the college’s commitment to advancing the goals of United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well‑being and promoting community solidarity and humanitarian care.
