A Qualitative Step Toward Unifying Academic Standards… Launch of the Joint Examination Between the University of Mosul and Al-Kitab University for Financial and Banking Sciences Students

As part of strengthening academic cooperation and integrating scientific efforts, the joint examination between the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, and its counterpart at Al-Kitab Private University officially commenced on Sunday, April 12, 2026. The exam is being conducted simultaneously at both universities at 11:00 a.m. over four consecutive days.
The examination is held under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, and with the close follow-up of Asst. Prof. Dr. Uday Salem Ali, Head of the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences. All logistical and organizational requirements were completed to ensure a smooth and well-structured examination process in accordance with the highest academic standards.
This joint examination comes as an extension of the agreement between the two institutions, following the visit of the delegation from the Department of Financial and Banking Sciences at Al-Kitab Private University on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The visit resulted in renewing the implementation of the joint examination mechanism for the academic year 2025–2026, covering all study stages beyond the first year, with the aim of enhancing unified academic perspectives and improving the quality of academic assessment.
This collaboration reflects both institutions’ commitment to enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and expanding partnership horizons in education and scientific research. It aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and embodies Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), paving the way for further joint initiatives that contribute to developing the academic and research capabilities of students at both universities.
