The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Strengthens Its Academic Presence with a Cooperation Agreement with its Counterpart at the University of Al-Mustafa to Achieve Academic Partnerships and Sustainable Development

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance academic cooperation and expand the horizons of scientific partnerships, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, a cooperation agreement was signed between the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul and its counterpart at the University of Al-Mustafa.
Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, Dean of the College, accompanied by Dr. Salem Khalil Khaled, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, welcomed the delegation from the University of Al-Mustafa, where the agreement was signed. This agreement represents a strategic step towards activating academic twinning between the two institutions.
The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, Dean of the College, along with representatives from the University of Al-Mustafa, in an atmosphere characterized by cooperation and scientific openness.
The agreement discussed several important areas of collaboration, including:
Development of curricula and syllabi,
Conducting training workshops,
Activating summer training programs,
Collaboration in teaching and education,
Evaluation of joint scientific research,
Organizing scientific conferences and seminars,
Supporting student activities and exchanging experiences in management and career development.
During the meeting, the University of Al-Mustafa delegation presented a commemorative gift to the Dean of the College, symbolizing the depth of the academic relationship between the two institutions.
As part of the visit, the delegation also visited the Department of Marketing Management, where they were received by Dr. Bashar Thakir Al-Qutaji, the Department Chair, and the department staff. A scientific meeting was held during which the department’s specialization and future cooperation prospects were discussed. Another commemorative gift was presented to the Department Chair.
This joint collaboration reflects the commitment of both universities to enhancing the quality of education and scientific research in Iraq, aligning with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education) and simultaneously embodying the seventeenth goal (Partnerships for the Goals). This cooperation will open vast opportunities for the academic and research development of the students of both colleges.
