The President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, conducted a field visit on the morning of Saturday, May 2, 2026, to the College of Administration and Economics to follow up on the progress of the final exams for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year (first round) for postgraduate students enrolled in Higher Diploma, Master’s, and PhD programs across all academic departments.
He was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, in the presence of the College Council members. The visit included an inspection tour of all examination halls to assess adherence to exam regulations and ensure that a suitable environment had been provided for students.
The delegation also reviewed the work of the examination committees, monitoring and organizational procedures, as well as the remote surveillance of examination halls via security cameras, which helps ensure smooth exam administration and reinforces standards of integrity and transparency.
During the visit, several key organizational aspects were emphasized, including the clarity of exam questions, grading distribution, and time allocation. Attention was also given to the process of opening exam envelopes inside the halls, preparing the halls with necessary requirements, providing drinking water and air conditioning, and guiding students to comply with exam instructions printed in the answer booklets to avoid any cases of misconduct.
The College administration reaffirmed its commitment to providing all necessary requirements to ensure the success of the examination process and to creating a suitable academic environment that promotes fairness and academic rigor, reflecting the College’s dedication to advancing the quality of its postgraduate programs and academic outcomes.
