“Requirements for Transitioning Towards Clean Energy” Is the Focus of a Scientific Workshop in the Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul

On Monday, June 8, 2026, the Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized a scientific workshop titled “Requirements for Transitioning Towards Clean Energy” at the Management Information Systems Department Hall No. (2).
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Ghazi Dhannoon, who addressed the essential requirements for shifting toward clean energy sources, as well as the technical, financial, and organizational pillars that contribute to building an effective roadmap for this transition. This comes in alignment with global trends toward environmental sustainability and sustainable development.
The workshop aimed to enable participants to identify and assess the key requirements for transitioning to clean energy, and to anticipate the opportunities and challenges associated with its implementation across various sectors, thereby enhancing resource efficiency and reducing environmental impacts.
The event was attended by several faculty members, researchers, and students from the department. It concluded with scientific discussions and academic dialogues exploring the horizons of the energy transition, its role in supporting sustainable development, and its contribution to reinforcing the environmental responsibility of institutions.
