College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Witnesses the Discussion of the First Master’s Thesis in English within the Department of Management Information Systems

The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Sunday, June 28, 2026, the Master’s thesis entitled:
”The Impact of Organizational Readiness for Change on The Behavioral Intention to Adopt Agentic AI: The Moderating Role of Information Literacy”

The study aimed to keep pace with the rapid technological developments in the business environment by measuring the impact of organizational readiness for change in enhancing employees’ behavioral intention to adopt Agentic Artificial Intelligence (Agentic AI). Furthermore, it aimed to demonstrate the moderating role of information literacy in supporting this trend, thereby contributing to the success of digital transformation processes and maximizing the utilization of smart technologies within organizations.
The study reached several conclusions, most notably that organizational readiness and top management support contribute to reducing employees’ anxiety toward modern technologies and enhancing their acceptance of Agentic AI. Additionally, the availability of a supportive organizational environment increases employee engagement with AI applications in the workplace. The results also showed that information literacy plays an effective moderating role in strengthening this relationship, which raises the level of trust in Agentic AI systems and increases the opportunities for their efficient adoption and utilization within organizations.
